As well as the traditional providers and brokers, most supermarkets now sell their own branded products.

Supermarkets are making the most of the loyalty of their customers by offering them a wide range of financial services products including motor insurance.

This means traditional providers are facing tough competition but it's good news for the consumer as more competition means cheaper premiums.
