Do you insure imports?

Motor insurance for imported cars is more expensive than for cars built for the UK roads. This is because the parts can be harder to find, especially for japanese models. Also the loss ratios particularly for theft can be higher on more desirable imported motor cars.

We can insure imported vehicles through our panel of UK insurance schemes. Imports from Europe that are RHD ( Right Hand Drive ) are cheaper to cover than imports from Japan or other LHD(Left Hand Drive) countries.

You will pay an extra fee for insuring your import but this is normally offset by the value for money you can get from buying your car overseas.
